Season 5 of The Finals is now on the horizon. The new season will kick off on December 12th. It’s not just about mayhem, new maps, and modes. Celebrating one amazing year since THE FINALS’ debut is also a significant occasion! In about a week, it will be time for the Next Stage!
New Map
Presented by our kind sponsors, welcome to Bernal, the gorgeous new map for Season 5! The breathtaking Peña de Bernal, one of the biggest monoliths in the world, casts a shadow over this enchanted hamlet. The Arena combines THE FINALS’ jaw-dropping energy with rich culture. Explore the map’s vibrant colonial square, which is surrounded by small cobblestone streets. You can even jump from rooftop to rooftop or make your own way through the walls. Transform Bernal’s historic beauty into the arena of your dreams with destructible environments. Will you leave it in ruins or will you discover its secrets? You have a choice!
New Weapons & Gadgets
Two revolutionary weapons are introduced in Season 5 that are certain to make an impression:
- ShAK-50: With two rounds each shot, the ShAK-50 is a powerful rifle for heavy users that offers tremendous stopping power with every squeeze of the trigger.
- Cerberus 12GA: A medium break-action triple shotgun that can burn competitors and the surrounding area with its incendiary shells.
In addition to two deadly new gadgets:
- Gravity Vortex: The Light’s deployable Gravity Vortex device uses a remote trigger to produce a local singularity that draws in everything in its path, including players, objects, and objectives.
- Lockbolt Launcher: The Heavy’s Lockbolt Launcher is a device that launches an anchor into the surroundings that can hold and capture up to three targets. When anchored, players can still move, but they won’t go very far.
Welcome to Clubs
Clubs, our new social structure that allows competitors to create groups and play together, is introduced in Season 5. Clubs offer a fresh opportunity to meet others, work together, compete, and get over the solitary-queue-blues, regardless of whether you’re a party animal or a solo star!
Features of the club include:
- Club Bonus: Compete as a team to gain more XP and fans.
- Club Wall: Participate in the conversation and stay up to date on your club’s most recent events.
- Team-Up Requests: Easily locate teammates for your preferred modes.
We’re excited to watch how you and your club collaborate to leave your stamp on THE FINALS, but this is only the beginning.

The focus is on the sponsors! Make an informed decision because you will only be allowed to contract with one sponsor who will help you during the season!

New Game Modes
- Snowball Blitz: Enjoy a 5v5 snowball combat TDM in Monaco with festive contracts and goodies during this time-limited event.
- Quick Cash: Quick Cash has been updated with wave respawns to cut down on lengthy respawn intervals and keep teams together, as well as Power Shift-inspired in-round loadout shifting.
- Meta Overhaul: New tactics and exciting gameplay are guaranteed with a major balancing change.
