Issue #2: Insect Repellant Special
The second issue of Wasteland Survival Guide is the Insect Repellant Special which can come in handy in the wasteland. If you can get your hands on this magazine, you will take 5% less damage from all sorts of insects in the wasteland. These include but are not limited to:
- Bloodbug
- Radroach
- Radscorpion
- Stingwing
- Radroach
- Bloatfly
These critters can be quite annoying, so getting this magazine can help a lot in the long run. To get this copy, you need to make your way to Crater House, which is at the northeast of the map. Here you will come across members of Child of Atom who will be hostile. They all wield Gamma Guns, so do make sure you stock up on Rad-X and Radaway. It’s best if you don yourself some Power Armor too. Once you take down all of the enemies, make your way towards the first shack to the left using the ramp after you enter Crater House from the Northern entrance. You will find the magazine on the table next to a lamp when you go down the stairs of the shack.
Issue #8: Self-Defense Secrets
You will find the 8th issue of Wasteland Survival Guide: Self-Defense Secrets in Ranger Cabin. With this magazine, you take 5% less damage from melee hits. You should come across this location quite early in the game as the location is close South of Sanctuary Hills. You’ll find the magazine laying nice and pretty on the table next to the bed.
