Valley Villagers gather up as Disney’s Dreamlight Valley has dropped The Laugh Floor Update. Starting from new villagers to gameplay improvements and plenty of bug fixes and optimizations, there are plenty to address in this update. Check out all of the details that the update has to offer below:
New Content & Improvements
- Unlock a new Realm door as you clock into The Laugh Floor and live the lives of this iconic Monsters, Inc. locale.
- Get ready to welcome the legends, Mike Wazowski and Sulley to the game. Brand new friendship quests are waiting to be completed and you can earn monstrous new items as you welcome these two characters.
- Check your mailbox to get rewards. All players will receive The Partners statue for your Valley and the ornate Dreamlight Armor outfit. Whether you’ve been in the game since day one or a new player- Disney won’t discriminate.
- With so many new options for personalizing your avatar—from different skin tones to unique eye contacts to a variety of ear styles—get ready to live a monstrous life.
- The Starlight House Bundle premium bundle allows you to customize a variety of items, such as a Dream Style for Belle, a House Style that suits her sensibilities, clothing (like pajamas!), and furniture (like a starlight projector!). It’s the ideal way to plan your ideal cozy evening.
- The Lovely Monsters Star Path is a brand-new Star Path that promises thrilling new rewards that are just as delicious as they are terrifying!
- We’re still not done with all the updates to Scrooge McDuck’s Shop! Since many of you visit the store almost daily in the hopes of finding the one piece of elusive furniture that will complete your Collection, this change will give you more options each day!
- Yet another update to Scrooge’s Shop. Doors are once again available for purchase, due to high demand!
- You can now modify the name of your avatar which is available in the game Settings, as per the requests of players.
- For a limited time, more optional items and some beloved return items from previous Star Paths will be available in the Premium Shop!
- Take on a variety of brand-new DreamSnaps challenges every week to express (and reward) yourself.
Bug Fixes
Devs have implemented the following fixes:
“The Wild Tangles Swarm” quest: Fixed an issue in which it was impossible to take a picture because the bugs disappeared.
“The Missing Prince” quest: Devs have fixed a bug in which the statue piece doesn’t spawn or you can’t collect it.
“Flying Metal Nuisance” quest: Resolved an issue in which a sandstone can block the player’s path.
“The Seed of Memories” quest: Fixed an issue in which The Dreamlight Tree doesn’t grow.
“Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Oops” quest: Resolved a bug in which the Espresso Machine would not appear in Chez Remy for some players.
“Restoring the Sunstone” quest: Resolved an issue in which the quest can get stuck on the ‘Bury the Dusk Fragment’ step.
“Something Comes A’Knocking” quest: Fixed a bug in which the tree can’t be interacted with.
“The Heart of Dreamlight Valley” quest: Fixed an issue in which the two heart fragments are recognized as the same one in the Crafting Station.
“The Great Blizzard” quest: Resolved an issue in which the sparkling water particles do not appear.
“When Things Go Boom” quest: Fixed a bug in which a flame could spawn in an unreachable area.
“The Tower” quest: Fixed an issue in which the vine seeds would not appear.
“The Forgotten Project” quest: Resolved a bug in which the third crate may not spawn.
“The Ceremony” quest: Fixed an issue in which ‘Honored Place’ is not registered as placed in front of the house.
Fixed a bug in which the second half of the Ancient Sphere can be blocked by a sandstone.
Resolved an issue in which some players received ‘Initialization Error #101’ when trying to load into the game.
Fixed an issue in which you couldn’t place some objects on applicable furniture.
Resolved an issue where you couldn’t remove some objects from furniture when placed on top of it.
Fixed a bug in which an invisible wall could block some players from reaching the beach area in The Ruins.
Fixed an issue in which WALL·E’s garden could disappear for some players.
Resolved an issue in which some outdoor furniture or trees would temporarily stop blending in with the ground after purchasing items from the Scrooge Shop.
Resolved a bug in which some players couldn’t claim DreamSnaps rewards.
Fixed multiple location-specific issues in which items became unreachable.
Various additional bug fixes, localization fixes, and stability improvements.
